• Water Loss - Delivery of $10 million water loss project on the Gold Coast which reduced real losses from 164 litres per property per day to 46 litres per property per day.
• Award 2005 - Institute of Public Works Engineering Australia – Engineering Project of the Year – Smart Metering in Hervey Bay.
• Award 2004 – Institute of Public Work Engineering – Innovative Project – Gold Coast Water Loss and Pressure Management Project.
• Project manager in the development for WSAA, of National Software and Best Practice Manual for water losses and distribution asset management.
• Smart Metering - Implementation of World First Smart Metering Program with the installation of 26,000 smart water meters in Hervey Bay.
• Water Recycling - Operation of large scale water reuse business with 800,000 hardwood trees and $15 million in assets, achieving 90% wastewater reuse.

John is one of the key members of Water Loss and Pressure Management Pty Ltd team and established himself with strong skills in leak detection and leak location and has 16 years experience in this field. He previously worked on many Leak Detection Projects in the UK, using the latest techniques and methodologies in locating leaks.

1998:Ewan Associates: provided leak detection role for Anglian Water, DMA design and zoning, valve proving and pressure zero testing. Use of Radcom flow and pressure data loggers and the preparation of DMA packs to include AZNP data, mains lengths, schematics, etc.
